The club wish to extend their deepest sympathy to the Nolan family Blessington on the death of Pete Nolan, to his wife and extended family our sympathy.  Pete was a great ambassador for the GAA in Blessington.  He held many positions in the club over the years.  He was a Steward in Croke Park and helped in many ways in Wicklow GAA as well such as gate collector.  He was president of the local club up to his death.  He will be missed by all GAA followers especially in the West.

We also extend our sympathy to the Byrne family, Tinahely on the death of Christina Byrne who was interned in Killaveney on Friday. Christina was the wife of the late Paddy (The Master) Byrne, Rathdangan.  All her family was steeped in the GAA in Tinahely and Wicklow to all their extended family our deepest sympathy.
