Kiltegan Camogie

Kiltegan Camogie.
Our intermediate Camogie team were beaten by Avoca in the Intermediate Camogie League in Kiltegan on Sunday morning after been only a point behind at half time 0 – 6 to 0 – 5.  Avoca scored a couple of gaols in the second half to go on to win the match 4 – 6 to 1 – 7 in spite of the score line our girls played some great camogie and with more training and match practices they will be a force in the championship later in the year.  Our scores came from Danielle Byrne 1 – 0, Mary Byrne 0 – 3, Sinead Kelly 2 points, Marie Whelan 2 points.  We play Carnew in the next league match next Sunday in Carnew.  Training this Friday night at 7.30 pm in the field.
Our under 12 competed in the Co. Camogie Blitz on Saturday.  Training for all girls under 6 to 14 every Wednesday evening in the GAA Field at 6.30pm.
