Our senior football team recorded their second win in a row last weekend and when they defeated Annacurra in a high scoring and entertaining league game in Kiltegan.  Released form Co. duty our two county players, Seanie and Rory played a very important role in the win. 
 Our junior football team after beaten Tinahely last weekend in the new South League lost their unbeaten record against Carnew in Kiltegan on Thursday evening in a very close entertaining game, the final score 0-11 to 0 – 10.  We were only a point behind at half-time 0 – 5 to 0 – 6 with the game level on a few occasions.  Carnew had the final say in the end and went on to win by the narrowest of margins.  Our scorers were; John Keogh 4 points, Fergal Harmon 2pts, Darren Hobson 2pts, Denis Hayes and Mark Ryan 1pt each.
Our junior hurlers lost to a strong Glenealy team in the Junior Hurling Championship League on Wednesday evening the final score 0 – 15 to 0-05.  Our scorers, Liam Kavanagh 2pts, Mark Pierce, John O’Keefe and Eoin Coogan 1pt each.
